Can word files linked from webpages open directly in Word?
I have 2 queries.
1. I want to know if this is possibel. Whenever a user clicks on a link to a document on my site, can I open the doc directly in Word Application and not in the browser. Can this be done? 2. I have a html page which has a few word templates(.dot) files linked from it. When a user clicks on any of these links, the template opens in IE. When the user clicks on "save as" it allows him to save with a .dot extension and not as a ..doc file.. How do I make the default save as .doc? |
