Change "fixed" margin at bottom of page
When I go to page set up and change the margins (1" each), a window pops up
asking me to "fix" or "ignore" my margin settings. If I choose "fix" Word automatically changes the bottom margin to 2.67" . If I choose "ignore" my text does not print or is not included on Print Preview within this huge bottom margin, even though my text shows on the page. What went wrong and short of going back to Word Perfect (yuk!), how can I fix this once and for all? |

Change "fixed" margin at bottom of page
This is caused by a conflict between the HP drivers for certain LaserJet
printers and some versions of Word. Solutions include using Windows drivers instead of HP (but you may lose some functionality) and using one of the drivers from http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/index.html. -- Suzanne S. Change "fixed" margin at bottom of page
The issue is the minimum margins reported by your printer driver, relative
to the paper size that Word thinks the printer has loaded. Check your printer properties. Also, on the page set-up, check the Footer 'From edge' distance. "robbin" wrote in message ...
