Default Text is marked to not spell check.

After running Spell Check Word states it has spell checked all text but that
text that is "marked" not to spell check. How does one mark text not to
spell check?

Thank you,

It depends on the version of Word. In the most recent versions, select the
text (e.g., Ctrl+A to select the whole document) and choose Tools -
Language - Set Language, and clear the Do not check... box (i.e., there are
three states: blank, gray and checked; gray means that some of the selection
contains Do not check... formatting).

In Word, if you click on Tools | Language | Set Language, you will see a
check box for "Do not check spelling or grammar".
