Default Scrollbar

This is probably overly simple. The vertical scrollbar has disappeared
whenever I use Word. The horizontal scrollbar is still intact.

It's rather annoying trying to view a document by scrolling up and down with
arrow keys. Does anyone have any advice?

I'm using Word 2003.
