Default Standard and Formatting Toolbars on 2 rows

All,

I would like to set, as default, that the Standard and formatting toolbars
on 2 Rows, in Versions 9,10, and 11.

I have the group policy ADM's for all these versions, but none contain an
option for this.

Was hoping for a quick registry fix to sort this out

Any ideas?

Thank You in advance for any responses

I don't know of a global fix for this - I believe that each individual copy
retains its own setting in Normal.dot accessed from ToolsCustomizeOptions.

This information is stored in the toolbars sub key of the Word data key in
the registry (along with other information). These sub keys are user based
and are not directly user editable. They are also volatile and prone to
corruption - especially with Word 2000 (Word 9) which causes loss of
toolbars.
