The option you are looking for is still available but isn't in the Ribbon by
default. Right-click your QAT and selected "Customize Quick Access Toolbar". In the "Commands Not in the Ribbon" category locate "Send to Mail Recipient" and it to your QAT. I have the same problem with Word -- can't send a Word document as an email.
Rather, it attaches to an Outlook email. This is a real problem -- many people won't take the time to open an attachment. "Go-Texan" wrote: Can I email from Word 2007 and keep the content in the body of the email and not sent as an attachment? |

When emailing from Word, how do I prevent attaching the file?
The QAT customize works, and my Outlook send the email from Word. However, I now have a 553 relay-prohibited error message to deal with. Have looked at Outlook Help info on this, but not sure what my problem/solution is. "Beth Melton" wrote: The option you are looking for is still available but isn't in the Ribbon by default. Here's an article that might help:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...800021033.aspx If it doesn't help you resolve the issue then you might want to post in an Outlook newsgroup since that's where the Outlook gurus hang out. :-) Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup.
