Default When emailing from Word, how do I prevent attaching the file?

Can I email from Word 2007 and keep the content in the body of the email and
not sent as an attachment?

The option you are looking for is still available but isn't in the Ribbon by
default. Right-click your QAT and selected "Customize Quick Access Toolbar".
In the "Commands Not in the Ribbon" category locate "Send to Mail Recipient"
and it to your QAT.

I have the same problem with Word -- can't send a Word document as an email.
Rather, it attaches to an Outlook email. This is a real problem -- many
people won't take the time to open an attachment.

The QAT customize works, and my Outlook send the email from Word. However, I
now have a 553 relay-prohibited error message to deal with. Have looked at
Outlook Help info on this, but not sure what my problem/solution is.

Here's an article that might help:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...800021033.aspx

If it doesn't help you resolve the issue then you might want to post in an
Outlook newsgroup since that's where the Outlook gurus hang out. :-)
