an automatic "X" in a check box by click of the mouse?
I am using a form that has little boxes to "X" yes or no on the left side of
the page. I want to be able to enter a "X" inside the appropriate boxes by simply clicking in the box with my mouse. I don't know how to do this. Many thanks, Rose |

If the "form" is properly constructed you should be able to do exactly
that... Click the box to add/remove an "X" or tab to it & press the spacebar. That's what the checkbox fields are designed for. Apparently that isn't the case, but without some details there's not much anyone can do but guess about why that might be. If you provide a complete description about the source & creation of the document as well as what version of Word you're using perhaps someone would have a fighting chance at helping you resolve the problem.
