How to connect documents to one large document in Word?
Is there some kind of advanced function in Word that will let me connect the
chapters (separate documents) of my thesis to one big document where the page numbers will be ok ready to print? You can use the InsertFile dialog box, and choose to "Insert as
Link". Repeat for each document to be inserted. Then you can work on the individual documents for content and use the combined document for (say) TOC creation. Alternatively, take a look at the following article: Creating a Table of Contents Spanning Multiple Documents http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/P...cle.asp?ID=148 -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Pekka" wrote in message ...
