Default Fax template (Check marks not working)

I downloaded a fax template from microsoft and when I download it the check
mark macro isn't working? what should I do?

Chances are that the macros were not downloaded (the way the template
gallery works these days). See the built-in templates for the macros and
AutoText needed.

There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in
documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do
not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration
of these.

Depending on how the check box was created, it may be necessary to
protect the document (Tools | Protect Document) before the check box
will work.
