Default word 2003 office for small business

i work in tables exclusively. when i receive information from a client, i
cut it and paste into my own table in word 2003. i then format the fonts,
positions, etc within the table. i then cut it and paste it into another
table i use for requests. when i paste the info [ Font Helv Narrow 11
centered ] it will be any font it wants to be, in any position it wants to
be. how can i change normal to remain how i cut it.
