I need to include a line graph for my paper but I have no idea how to make
one on these programs. Please help!

If you have Word 2003 or earlier, use the Insert Chart button on the
Standard toolbar. Change the chart type to the desired type of line graph.

1) you'll have to have data for the chart.
you can do multiple things to create this chart. Word, Excel, Access

if you use word, just insert a table, place a header row and then fill in
the data
