Templates in Word won't default to a .docx
I have created a few templates in Word 2007. In Word 2003 when you opened a
template it defaulted to a .doc extension so it wouldn't overwrite the template. Word 2007 is letting you overwrite the template. You either have to do a 'save as' before you use the template, or recreate the template. Any suggestions? Is there something setting I need to change so it will default to a document and not a template? |

Templates in Word won't default to a .docx
In Word 2003 you don't open a template to do this, you create a new document
based on the template. Don't have enough experience with Word 2007 to tell you what to do there.
