Set up find/replace in a macro
How do I set up a find/replace function in a macro, possibly assigned to a
command button, which can take changeable information from a set place and replace it in other parts of the document? For example, I create a box where someone can enter their name, eg. 'John'. They then click the command button and it automatically replaces the word 'name', which I've set up in various places throughout the document, with the word 'John'? |

Instead of using Find and Replace for this (plus the overhead of maintaining
a macro), it would be simpler to bookmark the place where you type 'John' and use REF fields where you have 'name'. Or enter John as a document property on File Properties Custom and use DocProperty fields where you want the name to appear in the document. "Haydon" wrote in message ...
