word equivalent of emacs ctrl-a ctrl-k
Hi
I cut and paste lines all the time. In emacs, I do ctrl-a ctrl-k In word, I can do "home" to get to the beginning of the line -- is there a way I can cut the whole line from there, or insert a mark, do an 'end', and select the line -- or select from the beginning of the line to the end and do a ctrl/c. I am looking for some way to avoid having to use the mouse to cut the whole line -- I want to use the keypad. Thanks, Rob |

Press Home to move the insertion point to the beginning of the line. Hold
Shift and press End to select the whole line. Ctrl+X cuts, and Ctrl+V pastes. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Rob Randall" wrote in message ... Hi I cut and paste lines all the time.
