Default How do I / Can I create a link for a word doc?

Is it possible to save a word document as a web page and then if I wanted to
take that information and email it to you - say as a link on a cover sheet
instead of an attachment, is this possible? How do I do that? (I'm sure this
an an easy question for someone but I appreciate your help)

Well, if you want to send a link and somebody else should be able to
retreive the information behind it (in DOC, PDF or HTML form, no
matter), then the missing step in your process is to have a webspace
somewhere and actually upload the document to it.
