Skipped Footnote numbers
In my document, there are 8 footnotes. But three numbers are "hidden." The
footnote feature inserted a 1, 4, 6, 7, and 8. I cannot correct the numbering sequence or delete the "hidden" footnotes (2, 3, 5). They do not show up anywhere, but when you use Edit-Goto-footnote and type in the missing numbers (2, 3, 5) it actually "finds" it. How can I delete these "hidden" references so the footnotes will number correctly? |
