Excel Number Data Showing as '0' in Mailmerge
HELP! I just conferted to Office 2007. I have a Excel datasource, and a
Word mailmerge document. The numberic fields are not loading into the document - I've tried changing the link-up and used OLE, ODBC, & DDE . . . no dice. Anyone have another suggestion? I'm really getting desperate here! |

Excel Number Data Showing as '0' in Mailmerge
If /every/ numeric field is returning 0, that is unusual - maybe it
would be worth doing a test to verify that a simple merge created from scratch actually works - e.g. create a new Excel sheet with a few rows and columns, and a new Word mailmerge main document, connect to that data source and see if that works. if so, I guess my next move would be to try reconstructing your Excel sheet (e.g., if it is really simple, export it as .csv, open that and save as a new document).
