For years I have had my New Document task pane docked at the left hand side
of the screen and it always stayed there. Now, every time I restart the
computer or log on the task pane goes back to the default location at the
right hand side of the screen and I have to move it again. Incidentally it
doesn't happen if I just close and reopen Word whilst logged on. Why has
this started happening? The only thing that has changed recently was that we
had a new served installed and also a new antivirus system put onto the
server. It's not a major problem it just bugs me!!!
