Default can't locate the last few worked on documents

I used to use the File menu option to scroll down to the bottom to view my
previously worked on documents. I even extended this to the 9 as I found it
very useful. I also teach over 60's to use a computer and this made their
life much easier. Can you tell me if there's any way this can be done in
2007?

Default can't locate the last few worked on documents

Click the Office button to see recently opened documents. You can set the
desired number of recent documents (up to 50) in Office button | Word
Options, Advanced (under "Display").
