Default 2003 text boxes on web page

I have produced a diagram using text boxes and connectors. The text boxes
have field references to bookmarks within the document. Everything works fine
in Word. It works ok in web view as well but when I save the document as a
web page the text boxes lose their hyperlink and come up with something like
this:
[bookmark identifier] followed by:
08D0C9EA79F9BACE118C8200AA004BA90B0200000008000000 0B000=000510045005600500072006F0063006500730073000 000
The field ref in the text box is something like this:
{REF [bookmark id] \h \* MERGEFORMAT}
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I dont really want to have
to look through the HTML file changing every link by hand.
