Excel Spreadsheet within a Word Document
Word allows users to insert an excel spreadsheet directly into a Word
document. My question is, if an individual recieving the document as, say, a file attachment, does not have Excel installed oin their computer, can they still view and/or edit the Word .doc file? |

Excel Spreadsheet within a Word Document
Hi Bill-
The recipient will still be able to open & edit the Word doc itself and _view_ the embedded Excel content. Whether they are able to edit the Excel content depends on how it is added to the doc. You might want to take a look at Word Help About inserting information by creating a linked object or an embedded object HTH |:) "BillGrubbs" wrote: Word allows users to insert an excel spreadsheet directly into a Word document.
