Problem with formatting for capitalization in Word
I am making word lists for my medical transcription use. I wanted to make a
list of drugs that I commonly run across, and formatted the page into 2 columns. Whenever I tried to type a drug name that I wanted to specifically type without the first letter capitalized, it would automatically be capitalized. I went into "tools" and "formatting" after looking at the help text, and changed the "capitalize" option that was already marked, to the "no capitalize" option, so I could capitalize words on my own, then I clicked ok. When I tried again, it automatically went back to capitalizing every first word of each items in my column. I do not want this feature, but it does not seem to be "taking" the option that I keep clicking. It just goes back to "capitalize all". Does someone know how to correct this in Word? thanks, Barb -- "Diggin' The Dancing Queen" |

In Word, click on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect tab |
uncheck the two boxes for "Capitalize first letter of sentences" and "Capitalize first letter of table cells" | OK. dancingqueen wrote: I am making word lists for my medical transcription use.
