Default Microsoft word viewer

i using this program but it will not let me edit anything. the edit program
is there but its not high lighted so when i click on it nothing happens so
cant edit. what do i do?

Do you have a trial version that has expired? Did you activate it?

I just got this computer and it came with the vista lab top. How do i
activate it?

Word viewer? The operative word here is *VIEWER*. To edit word documents you
need Word or a Word compatible word processor.

My fault - Viewer is just that. Or do you mean Word? There's ahuge
difference.

Default Microsoft word viewer

The "Edit" button will open the document for editing in Word. However if you
don't have Word installed all you can do is view the document. If you wanat
to edit the document then you need Word.
