All of a sudden my Word 2003 spellcheck started using a French Dictionary. I
went into the Set Language feature and I can't seem to uncheck the French
Dictionaries. I check the box labeled "Do not check spelling and grammer"
for all the French dialects but it changes nothing.

Help - it doesnt like the word status or history or modified or reflect... I
can't tell what is misplelled.

"Detect language automatically" is unchecked.

Mine too---and it also goes into "Spanish (Modern-Sort)", whatever that
means, and I get pop-ups that say "Cannot find proofing tools in German". I
can't figure out how to turn these off. None of the settings I change to
English US make a difference. Did you ever figure this out? Does anyone else
have any suggestions?
