Everything shifted left
For some reason, when I opened Word 2003 today, everything in a document has
shifted left. When I would view my documents before, they were centered in the page no matter what margins I had selected. Now, everything is far left. When I look at the ruler at the top of the page, it only goes to 7", even though my page setup shows 8.5 x 11. My older documents are ok. I tried changing the Normal.dot template but it won't let me change the margins. Help! Wisln |

It sounds as if you are in Normal view. Try switching to Print Layout view.

One possibility - Could it be that you've managed a switch to Normal View?
Take a look in the View menu & select Print Layout or click the Print Layout View (middle) button in the lower left corner of the document window. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "Wislndixie" wrote in message ... Thanks for your response, but I figured it out by browsing some other posts.
Somehow the "markup" view was selected. Once I de-selected it, everything went back to normal. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: It sounds as if you are in Normal view.
