Default how to assemble 20 documents into one book

I have written 20 different articles and want to assemble them intop one book

Assuming you used consistent formatting and styles you can start a new Word
document with one article and insert the others one at a time until you have
a big Word document. Obviously you will have to work with the formatting
of sections, page numbering, references, headings and Table of Contents, at
the least, so you have some work ahead.
