Default Word 2003 - Document Manager encrypted files message

My Word 2003 suddenly decided to offer to open ONLY DMS encrypted files. I
don't have Visio, and have not knowingly changed any settings. How do I
switch it off?

Default Word 2003 - Document Manager encrypted files message

Hi ?B?U3Rld2FydCBXaHl0ZQ==?=,

My Word 2003 suddenly decided to offer to open ONLY DMS encrypted files. I
don't have Visio, and have not knowingly changed any settings. How do I
switch it off?

Can you describe in more detail how "decided to offer to open ONYL DMS
encrypted files" is manifesting itself?

DMS has nothing to do with Visio, per se. DMS means "Document Management
System" (or Defense Management System, but I think the first is more likely).
Do you have a Document management system installed, such as DocsOpen? If you
do, then the first place to ask would be your IT department or the support
provided for this system.
