How do I give forms a serial number automatically?
In Word 2000 I was able to use mail merge to create serialised forms. Now I
am using word 2003 I find it impossible to do the same task. Am I missing some simple method of doing this or has Microsoft changed Word to prevent this useful feature. Thanks in anticipation. |

I suspect a SEQ field would do this, although I haven't tried it. I assume
that the merge forms you created in Word 2000 still work, have you examined them to see how they were set up? -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
