I want to select text but not paragraph mark
I have tried starting at the end of a sentence and pressing shift+left
arrow, shift+home, etc. but as soon as I reach the first word of the paragraph, it selects the paragraph mark, if the next line is a different style it is selected as well . I am assuming that there is an option that needs to be checked or unchecked. Any insights would be appreciated. Venus Childress |

I want to select text but not paragraph mark
This will be some of Word's "IntelliSense." Experiment with the settings on
the Edit tab of Tools | Options. Start by disabling "When selecting, automatically select entire word." Then investigate the "Cut and paste options": "Smart cut and paste" and "Settings." This will be mostly trial and error, I'm afraid. -- Suzanne S.
