Default can not find data source

I have a word mail merge document that merges from another word doc. When
opening the mail merge doc it goes through the SQL command, yes no, which is
fine, but when I choose yes it tells me that it can't find my data source.
It is clearly there though. When I just go into the doc and open the data
source myself it works fine. Weird..? Thanks in advance.
