Default MAKING A FEW PAGES INTO ONE DOCUMENT

I have a few word files say 10 pages how do I make them into 1 File?
They are numbered 1 to 10 and I have to open each one to view it sepertally.
I want to make them one file.

Create a new document and use Insert | File repeatedly to insert each file
in turn.

I have tried that and it cuts the pages in half.

You mean after you inserted your documents according to Suzanne's
advice, your combined document has fewer pages than the sum of the
individual documents? That may happen easily, since the text reflows.

You might want to insert a section break/next page between each
INCLUDETEXT field.

Or you might convert the documents into PDF files and merge these,
depending on your requirements.

1. Inserting files does not create INCLUDETEXT fields unless you link them,
which I wasn't suggesting.

2. A simple page break should suffice; a section break is not necessary.
