Signature added to word document (letter)
My word document is comprised of several letters/correspondences. I know how
to add the signature to a single document/letter, but how would I add it to multiple letters that comprise the entire .DOC File?. Is there a way?. I have not been able to come up with the solution. |

Signature added to word document (letter)
If you are referring to a *Digital Signature* it must be applied to the
document, not to individual parts of one. If an image - such as a scanned copy of a hand-written signature you can just insert in the one location, then copy & paste to the others. You could also do this using Fields, but it would take just as long to insert them as it would to do the copy/paste. Another option would be to create an AutoText entry & insert it wherever necessary. It could also be used in other docs. As far as some sort of magic feature that will automatically seek out & add the signature to each & every spot you want it to be... not unless there is something consistant to use as a frame of reference for Find & Replace or a macro. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "Bill HCCC" wrote in message ...
