Cell references in tables should be relative, not absolute
If you split a cell or insert a row or column, all formulas in the table that
reference individual cells or limited ranges of cells need to be corrected if they refer to a cell to the right or below the split cell or inserted row or column. If the cells had relative references, rather than absolute references, in formulas this problem would be eliminated. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
