Default Downloading Word Fill-in form from the intranet site

Hello:

I would like to design a fill-in form and publish it for downloading on the
internal web site. People would download the form and have it saved on the
local machines. Are there any known issues related to viruses when such a
form is downloaded from the Web server and save it from the server location.

Is there any more risk with Word form then PDF forms? (as far as I know you
cannot save PDF forms with Acrobat Reader). I would like to use Word form
but I am concerned with the virus risks?

Can you advise?

Just to get this straight: people shall download the template (or a new
document based on it), fill it out -- and then what?

Since you are talking about your own Intranet server, I fail to see the
virus risk.

Default Downloading Word Fill-in form from the intranet site

Hello:

What am I going to do with the result? After a form is complete, users
would email it to form collecting person by email as email attachement (by
clicking on the email button on the form). Forms then would be saved as text
and imported to Access database or Excell. I am also wondering which would
be more suitable for this task: MsWord form or Excel. This form has one
pretty large table with form fields.

Would appreciate your advise.
