[Cheryl B[_2_]]

I used my insert button and it automatically deleted as I typed with Word
1998. It does not do that with Word 2007. How can I make it do that again?

In Word 2007, go to Office button Word Options Advanced. In the
first group of options, check "Use the Insert key to control overtype
mode".
