Default OPENING DOCS IN WORD FOR MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.

I am having a problem getting my email to open up attachments with word. My
computer automatically wants to open them upp with notepad. Any suggestions??

Default OPENING DOCS IN WORD FOR MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.

It is bad practice to open Word documents from an e-mail attachment. Save
the the hard drive and open from there. If the problem remains when opening
from Windows Explorer, see how to re-register Word when problems crop up
opening files
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ReRegisterWord.htm and if that doesn't
fix it select a document in Windows Explorer, right click and choose Open
with...

From the ensuing dialog select Word (winword.exe) and check the box to
always open with this application.
