Word 2007 inking only opens handwriting to text box
I used to have a Toshiba Portege M200 w/Windows XP for Tablet and Office
2003. I was able to just take my tablet stylus and write directly on a Word document, like using a pen to write on paper. The inking option in Word 2003 allowed me to choose the width, color, etc of the ink. NOW I have a Portege M400 w/Windows XP for Tablet and Office 2007. I am no longer able to just write directly on an Office document - instead, a "handwriting to type" box opens. I HATE THIS!! How can I change this? Word 2007 has a "Start Inking" button, but it does nothing except open up this stupid box. How do I write directly on a Word 2007 document w/my stylus??? |
