Default In Word 2000, counting a specific word in a document

I want to count how many times a specific word is used in a document for Word
2000.

I am able to do this in Word 2003 through the "Find" window, but can't seem
to find this feature in Word 2000. Does that feature exist in Word 2000? If
so, where?
If not, how do I create a macro to count a specific word?

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated!

Find
Ctrl-F

But you want replace Ctrl-H

Replace the word with itself and it will tell you how many times the word
was found.

I think the "Highlight all items found" option may have been introduced in
Word 2002. As Charles says, however, you can replace a word with itself, and
Word will tell you how many replacements it made.
