integrated searching while using word
I just read a review of the next iteration of apple's pages:
At present, Pages features a virtually identical interface for both standard document creation and more advanced publishing, but Version 3 will divide these two capabilities into separate Word Processing and Layout modes. Apple will also integrate its Spotlight meta-searching functionality into Pages, and is considering building in Wikipedia and Google integration so that writers will not have to leave the program when performing research. This seems extremely convenient and time saving. When I write articles I am constantly having to leave word, which really slows things down. Since OneNote has some drag and drop features from the internet, it should be easy to incorporate this ability into word 200. I'm not going to leave Office for Apple over this single issue, but it would be a shame not to have it. dennist685 ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Have you taken a look at the Research Task Pane?
You won't find Google or Wikipedia there, but it may very well fill the bill. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "dennist685" wrote in message ...
