exclude empty lines in office 2k3
Hi,
I was using an option in WORD97 that removed empty lines after compiling a new mail merge document. I can't find it in office 2003, there is some help on empty lines, but it seems much less ellegant, as it requires to mark the new paragraph character as hidden, then disable its printing, it's not WYSIWIG. Any ideas? -- gacek |

From the Tools menu, select Customize and go to the All Commands category
and locate the Mail Merge Helper item and drag it onto a toolbar. That will then give you back the old interface which should enable you to do it the way that you did before. If it doesn't, you may need to select Options from the Tools menu and then on the General tab, check the box against "Confirm conversions at open." Then try the different connection methods that are presented when you attach the data source to the mail merge main document. -- Hope this helps.
