Someone created a document where a window pops up and you enter a person's
name which is then put into a document. I need to make changes to this doc
but don't know where to begin.

It is probably a Fill-In field but could be a UserForm. To check for fields,
open the document and press Alt-F9. (This is a toggle so pressing it again
will hide the fields.)
