Default word 2007 template issue

the only way to open microsoft word is to DELETE the normal.dot file then
open word. when i close word a new normal.dot file is created and that too is
corrupted. (In Vista there is ! in the icon of the normal.dot file). what do
i do?

Default word 2007 template issue

You need to check out http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm
then http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...peningWord.htm. If something
is corrupting normal.dot it will be from an external factor. What add-ins
are you loading. Remove the add-in of any version of Acrobat except the very
latest version of Acrobat 8.1 as they are incompatrible with 2007.
