Select an index in a .doc
Hi,
I have a .doc with 3 indexes, each one is determined by switch \f "A" or "B" or "C", according to its contents. I want to select only the "C" index, in order to work on programmatically. How can i do this job ? Thanks, Jean-Paul |

Select an index in a .doc
I have a .doc with 3 indexes, each one is determined by switch \f "A"
or "B" or "C", according to its contents. I want to select only the "C" index, in order to work on programmatically. How can i do this job ? If we're talking about the actual list, this is generated by an INDEX field. So you should be able to loop through all the fields in a given range (this could be the entire document range) and check whether the '\f "A"' is in the string returned by the Code property. If it is, you've found the field. The field's Result property should return the Range, on which you can work. (But note that any changes you make will be lost as soon as the field updates!)
