Default Auto Correct doesn't add words - get Chinese message and an okay to click

My auto correct won't work when I am in a document. I cannot add words
through auto correct when I right click a misspelled word and it will only
work for that session. Once I log off, the next day it won't take the added
words.

Also I cannot add words to the dictionary.

Can anyone help or does anyone else have the same problem?

Thanks.

Sounds like a language conflict. Check the language assigned to both the
text at the insertion point and the Custom.dic user dictionary; for more,
see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/MasterSpellCheck.htm.
