Default how do i change normal table to one horizontal to the page

normal tables are vertical however that way they take up more space how do i
turn the table around so it's in horizontal position?

You must create a section (by inserting section breaks) and change the
orientation of that section from portrait to landscape. Instructions are at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Format...apeSection.htm, which also
discusses relocating the header and footer of the landscape section if
that's necessary.
