Footnotes
What are the possible causes of fake/faulty footnotes? Is it possible to remove excess para character from footnotes? Any Ideas would be most helpful, as I'm trying to do a legal research doc. -- BernBennett |

The most likely source of "fake" footnotes is conversion from WordPerfect.
Removing excess paragraphs sometimes takes a bit of trial and error. If selecting and deleting doesn't work, try using Backspace or placing the insertion point at the end of the previous paragraph and pressing Delete. The correct way to remove *actual* (real) footnotes, of course, is to select the footnote reference mark *in the text* and delete it. -- Suzanne S.
