Default Print Preview

Print preview will only show the first page, the Word document has 4000
words. When in Normal view all the text is shown. As soon as Print preview is
opened instead of the vertical scroll bar being about 1/4 of an inch long it
extends half way down the page.

Word 2003, in print preview you can show one page (third button along on the
toolbar) or multiple pages (fourth button). Use the scrollbar to see more
pages. The lengh of the scrollbar is proportionate to the length of the
document that you can see.

Hope this helps.

If you cannot scroll to see more pages in Print Preview, check if the
text has been formatted as hidden (Font tab of Format | Font).

If by Print Preview you mean Print Layout view, your problem may be caused
by a glitch in Word's column setup. Go to Format Columns and click on the
preset picture for One (which checks the box for "Equal column width"). If
this solves your problem in the current document and you are having the same
problem in all new documents, you will need to also make this change in
Normal.dot; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm
