Fileds nested too deeply error
I have a very complicated word merge document with many IF statements
and INCLUDETEXT statements. When I run the merge in Windows 2000, I don't have a problem. But when I run it on any machine with Windows XP, it seems to merge to email fine except that when I save the document I can't open it and I get the "fields nested too deeply" error. Also, I get replies from the emails saying they can't open the document. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you in advance for any help. |

Fileds nested too deeply error
There's supposed to be a limit of 20 levels of nesting - as far as I know it
is quite strictly adhered to, but perhaps it's relaxed in some cases and/or stricter in others. All I can suggest is that you try to reduce the number of nesting levels. If you can provide examples where the nesting is particulalry deep, someone might be able to suggest some wways to "un-nest". Peter Jamieson wrote in message oups.com...
