Problem in comment balloon
I'm using Word 2003.
Someone has sent me a document to review. I'm adding comments (using Insert / Comment). The introductory text of the comment - the part that usually says "Comment [xx1]" - appears to be in a weird font. I don't know what style is used for that text, but I've checked the styles Comment Text, Comment Reference, and Comment Subject, and they all seem fine. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

Yup, that's it!
In the document as I received it, the Balloon Text style is formatted in Lucida Grande, which I apparently don't have on my PC. I don't recall how the font substitution rules work, but apparently Word is substituting some weird font. Thanks for solving the problem. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Try Balloon Text. -- Suzanne S. You'd think it would at least substitute one of the Lucida fonts that come
with Windows/Office. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Eric" wrote in message ... Yup, that's it! Somewhere among the options (I don't know where it is in 2003) you'll
find a place to access the Font Substitution list, where you can learn the name of the weird font and also tell it what to use instead of Lucida Grande.
