How to insert a column of a table at the end of another table
Place the insertion point at the end of first row of the table,
immediately to the left of the end-of-row marker (¤). Pasting a column from the clipboard should now work. To see end-of-row markers, press Ctrl+Shift+8 or press the ¶ button on the Standard toolbar; either method displays nonprinting marks. To learn more about nonprinting marks, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/NonPrintChars.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Paola" wrote in message ... How to insert a column of a table at the end of another table
I wonder if smart cut and paste could cause this? (I'd test it myself,
if I currently had access to a Word 2002/2003 installation.) In a test document, you could experiment with the settings for tables. How to insert a column of a table at the end of another table
Hi;
Do the following: 1. On the view menu, point Toolbarbars, and then click Tables and Borders. 2. Click the Draw Table botton on the Tables and Border Toolbar. A pencil cursor is displayed. 3. Click on the top of the cell you want to insert a column and drag down till the base of the cell(s). Similarly, you can click the Erase button on the Table and Borders button to deleted the table boreder to need to delete. Deleting any border will remove the border of cell and display as a single merged cell. You can create a nested table this way. Thank you Challa, but your solution works only inserting a new column. I have
to paste an existing column into another table and this function does not work... "challa prabhu" wrote: Hi; Do the following: 1.
